ACC Corporate Partner of the Year Award
RTD Named ACC Corporate Partner of the Year for Unwavering Commitment to AAPI Inclusion
DENVER, CO – The Asian Chamber of Commerce (ACC) has announced the RTD Small Business Opportunity Office of the Civil Rights Division as its Corporate Partner of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes a corporation that has demonstrated exceptional leadership in supporting Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) small businesses, community organizations, and initiatives.
The ACC acknowledged the challenge of selecting from its many dedicated corporate members but highlighted RTD’s sustained commitment as the deciding factor. RTD’s selection was based on criteria that assessed its dedication to:
- Fostering Cultural Awareness and Inclusion within its workforce, products, and services.
- Demonstrating a Long-Term Commitment to AAPI Communities through ongoing support and programs.
- Creating a measurable Impact on Economic Empowerment for AAPI communities.
RTD's partnership was underscored by several key initiatives that align with these criteria:
- Active Support: RTD enthusiastically participated in the ACC's first "Face-to-Face" meet & greet with AAPI Non-Profits back in April and consistently attends all Business After Hours Events and Cultural Experience Series.
- Economic Opportunity: In August, RTD invited the ACC to participate in their annual S/DBEAC virtual meeting, providing a platform to share goals and mission, and introducing the ACC to participating Small Businesses and resources.
- Long-Term Empowerment: Most importantly, the RTD Small Business Opportunity Office of the Civil Rights Division has a long-term commitment to empowering AAPI entrepreneurs and communities through programs aimed at strengthening their businesses.
The ACC welcomed Alexis Serrano Castro, Manager of the Small Business Opportunity Office, to accept the award on behalf of RTD.
